Background studies on three climate change hot spots in Africa and South Asia
This project used a systematic review approach to examine published literature (peer reviewed, grey, policy documents) reporting on climate change adaptation occurring in Africa and South Asia. The review focused on climate change hot spots such as low lying deltas, densely populated river basins, and semi-arid regions. The work was commissioned by the IDRC to inform the design of their CARIAA program The ArcticNorth team was also contracted to train research groups in systematic literature review methodologies, organize a session at the COP18 meeting in Doha, and lead a special edition at the journal Regional Environmental Change on the work.
