Tanya has been a part of various interdisciplinary projects including adaptation planning to climate change in two Inuvialuit communities – Ulukhaktok and Paulauk, for Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, and investigating the relationship between climate change and the Canadian mining industry for the David Suzuki Foundation. Her main research interests involve human vulnerability and development. Particularly, she is interested in the political-economic dimensions of poverty, human rights, and peace studies. Tanya plans to further explore these topics through graduate studies in the near future.
