Research on climate change vulnerability and adaptation, particularly projects aiming to contribute to practical adaptation initiatives, requires active involvement and collaboration with community members and local, regional, and national stakeholders that use this research for decision making. This also involves integrating multiple sources of knowledge to better understand the implications of climate change for ecosystems and livelihoods.

ArcticNorth works in partnership with communities and indigenous peoples to document and integrate traditional knowledge in climate change vulnerability assessment and planning. ArcticNorth also has expertise in disseminating research findings to end-users, including indigenous communities, and brings innovation and creativity to developing dissemination tools that are relevant to each research context.
